Mitch Chambers wasn't the only person transported to survive on the new world. The Meme aliens transported thousands of other humans and animals from all over the Earth as well. Each group had their own idea on how to adapt, survive, and thrive. Mitch and his family must find these people and then learn to live and work with them in a greater community all the while trying to survive and map their new home. Dinosaurs, alien creatures, and the weather are just some of their problems. But their most terrifying threat may come from within their own ranks...

Sorry Chris I have not got to BC2 yet. I am going back and rereading books I read as a kid. I am stuck on Harold Coyle and his cold war killing Commie Russians books. It is on my list.

ReplyDeleteNot sure that the current politics should work though, since definitely for the moment it is mainly survival for all the various camps. As soon as their people back in their own village hears about what they caused there should be a minor rebelion.. Ok only up to 60% so far though.

DeleteTTTS update: Got past the part that was blocking me. It'll cause some headaches down the road and some rancor with a few people but there is a method to the madness. I've got 6 1/3 chapters left to write... if they don't fission on me. We'll see. Things are looking up!
I finished the rough draft of TTTS yesterday. I ran it through 2 runs of spellcheck (open office and word) plus the pages of edits, text files, and other corrections today, and now it's off to the betas. (I just sent it to Thomas. If any other betas are available and want a stab at it, drop me an email)
ReplyDeleteI was hoping it would be out next month but we'll see. At best (and I HIGHLY doubt it) it will come out the last weekend of October. At worst sometime in November. We shall see. We ssshaaallll see. :)
The funny thing is, I've got most of what I need for the cover of other books, (like 1st AI war) but I'm still floundering a bit with this cover. Hopefully I can sort it out next week. (the cyborg dolphins are going to be fun) Then I can play with some stuff I've been waiting on...:)

A little early (okay late technically) to stampede me into GP. I'm still coming down from writing TTTS. I just started the cover to it. It's going to be a simpler affair then what I normally do. Hopefully I can finish it this week.

BTW, I know I owe at least 1 snippet. I want to keep the BSC2 cover up on the blog a little while longer though. So I'll snip something off TTTS and pass it to Minion Mike to post at the FB group sometime this week.
