Things are moving quicker lately. I went through the upload process less than 2 hours ago and walla! It's up!
Still recovering from the battle
of Sol, Terra has gone on the offense in a desperate attempt to push the enemy
back and bottle them up in the Rho sector. Terrans have to come together like
never before to rebuild.
Meanwhile, in Rho, the conquered colonies struggle for survival. Pyrax
however has done the impossible, they have taken out the conquer's ships and
have given themselves some breathing room. Jack Lagroose is aware that their
respite might be brief, at any time an enemy ship could come into the star
system with blood in their eye.
But one thing Jack is certain of is that one way or another, Terrans
won't go down without a fight. And the Taurens are about to find out if they've

Thanks Duncan!
Damn you Chris, damn you to hell. I was hoping you would delay this till later in the week.
ReplyDeleteI refuse to buy your book. I am going on Vacation on a site seeing trip at the end of the week and the woman will drag me all over seeing shit. i had plan to have your book to read during that suck fest. Now I have to stay strong and not buy it till later this week. Or I will binge read it and have nothing to break the monotonous hell that is one museum after another.
Thanks!

DeleteSorry Soren, but the book is GREAT, if you wait a week you loose some good hours of reading.
ReplyDeleteTough decision, i don't envy you.
Anyway Chris you are on the wave men, and keep getting better, so i forgive you that book with Bek and the commander, i don't even remember the name boring and predictable.
Any way guys and girls GET the book now is GREAT !!!!
Thanks Sergiu.
DeleteI'm dealing with Bek now. It is a headache. Sitrep: I'm up to 130 pages, but I still haven't fixed the first 3 chapters. That's despite having the power off all morning for maintenance. :P
Soren: lol Sorry?
Hi Trogdor (Matt)!
I keep trying different searches for the new book but cannot find it
ReplyDeleteOn nook I mean
Deletenook: http://www.barnesandnoble.com/w/waking-the-sleeping-giant-chris-hechtl/1126188527?ean=2940157248680
ReplyDeleteThe link is for BN.com I use the nook app and it is not showing. So I sent a complaint to them and will see what actions are taken
DeleteYes it is for BN.com but once there you can buy the book and it will be put in your account so you can download it onto your nook.
DeleteThe problem is a barns and Noble account and a nook account are classed as 2 separate types of account. As automatic payments for renewal on nook do not carry over to barns and Noble. I have gone around with them on that before
DeleteReally? I never have had a problem.
DeleteI think it has to do with I have it set up on the app on my phone and the people I have talked to do not wish to try very hard at there jobs
DeleteIt's now showing up on the app store link as more by author. Was not up and noon EST. But now at 3 it's showing
DeleteJust curious, why use a NOOK today? Did you build a sizeable library?
ReplyDeleteyep in my case I have over 1200 books.
Deleteas an additional background: I have had several bad experiences with Amazon. They were resolved quickly but a dozen problems in 6 months left a very bad taste in my mouth. Also The Nook was announced a few months before the Kindle. And finally I have been a member of B&N for over 20 years. If you include the physical books in addition to the e books my library is well over 2000. Add in the ones I have donated over the years pushes it up to about 4000.
DeleteChris, thank you for the latest "book". Book is in quotations because it really felt like part two to the DD Immensely enjoyable and flowed well. It did not feel rushed and abruptly cut off. I enjoyed it, and appreciated the set ups for other story lines and setting depth for further character developments.
ReplyDeleteCool, thank you!
DeletePlease post a review if you haven't already.
Can you email me sometime about JAG? I've got some questions, queries, posers, :)

Tomorrow is another day.
