The Federation was ambushed by the Tauren Confederation in the opening moves of what some call the Second Tauren War. Not to be deterred, the Federation played for time by administering some crippling blows in the early stages of the war.
Now the gloves have come off and the Taurens are sending a freight train of heavy metal straight at the Federation sector capital. The Federation however is now ready to meet them in a clash of wills or, as some would call it A Full Court Press…

In to Hold The Line and Full Court Press at the back there is a map of the Tau sector. This map is far better than the one on the wiki for Tau Sector. Can you please update it. In kindle when you try to zoom in so you can read the names of the systems it just gets blurry.
Also still waiting on a Patreon or something similar to support you.

Patreon: I looked into it but I didn't move forward with it. In order to do it I'd have to publish every few chapters or something similar. The Betas will tell you I'm bad about stopping. I stop after each of the acts, though usually reluctantly. lol I don't run spellcheck until that time, and Rea doesn't get her hands on the manuscript until months after I'm done. :)

I know other people that due Patreon and I think this will totally work. I am pretty sure you don't need to give chapters, but you need to offer something. Also will need to create 3 levels of members. the basic givem them all your books 30-60 days before you publish on Amazon. I know Sourjorn Audio Drama does this and works well for them.

ReplyDeleteFor level 2 start a new book series that people get to have only at that level.
Three think about offering a once a month zoom call were you do create outlining on stories and get ideas from people that you might want to turn into something or add into you books.
I am sure setting down with you core people and asking them can really work for you. Also think about doing a kick starter where you setup Federation Start ships design that you have made in casts. I would pay 100-200 for a set of 5-6, like 1 destroyer , io(fleet tender), Fire fly, BC SD and a monitor along with a fleet carrier, ships to put on my desk if they were nice enough I better you would be surprised what might work for you. I am sure your people can help you look into getting a Kickstarter together.
If there are really nice and are impressive you can send free set to Daniel green a Youtuber and it may review them and post on his in SCI news which get watched by about 60-80k a week.
